A Memorial Weekend To RememberTanto Metro and Devonte have confirmed that they are very happy with the first leg of their anniversary tour, as the response from their fans has been overwhelming. The next stop for The Dynamic Duo will be in Minneapolis, Minnesota on May 23rd. Click Here to view poster . Tanto and Devonte are looking forward to performing for their fans in Minneapolis who have been waiting a long time to see them perform. The last time the duo tore that city apart was in early 2000 so the anticipation to see the duo is immeasurable.
The Duo are also scheduled to perform at the UCLA Jazz Reggae Festival 09, along with the likes of Erykah Badu, De La Soul, Leela James, Mavado, Assassin, Cherine Anderson and many more. The event is a two day festival to be held in California during The Memorial Weekend. They will perform on the second day of the festival entitled Reggae Day. Tanto Metro and Devonte have stated that they are very honored to be a part of such a worthy cause to help raise awareness about the environment and are very eager to perform for their thousands of UCLA fans that will be attending the event.
The Annual Jazz Reggae Festival at UCLA, a student-run festival, has attracted an average of 30,000 attendees annually over the past six years. This year’s theme, "A Culture of Change", will be incorporated into all aspects of the show. With this in mind, the festival’s team has continued their efforts in making all aspects of the festival as eco-friendly as possible.
