The I Got News For You singers arrived on Saturday and they are staying at Serena Hotel. Speaking to the press from the Serena Hotel pool area, Tanto and Devonte, who became popular in Uganda for their hit single Everyone Falls In Love, said Ugandans should expect the best from them. “We’re going to give them (revellers) the best show because we want to come back here,” said Tanto, who also composed and raps on their duet Give It To Her.

Meanwhile, R&B sensation Joe Thomas is expected here tonight. According to the concert’s organiser, Hemdee Kiwanuka of No End Entertainment, “Joe arrives late in the night of Tuesday.” Hemdee also said that Boyz II Men are expected to arrive in Uganda on Wednesday. The artistes are also expected to meet and greet their fans before the main show.

The main show, which has been dubbed “the biggest show in Uganda”, will see Joe, Boyz II Men, Tanya Stevens and Tanto Metro & Devonte perform on the same stage at the same time for the first time. The concert is at Lugogo Cricket Oval this Saturday starting at 7 p.m. though revellers have been asked to arrive on time because the show will start on time regardless of the size of the audience.

Whoever wants to go to the “general happiness” area will have to part with Shs30,000 whilst the gold and platinum tickets will go for Shs100,000 and Shs200,000 respectively. No End Entertainment and JH Promotions are organising the concert with the financial backing of I-Telecom and Crown Beverages.
